• Non-Profit Resources

  • About 100 of the Chamber’s more than 1,200 members are non-profit organizations. Are you one of these non-profit members? Our Chamber works hard to provide you with the support you need to thrive in our community.Below are some benefits the Chamber provides you, our non-profit members, plus links to other beneficial resources.

Don’t see what you need here? Contact us directly at (919) 967-7075 and let us know how we can help!

    Connecting You to People

You have access to the Chamber’s networking events, but even when you can’t make it to an event, the Chamber works to connect your organizations to clients, donors, and for-profit organizations.

    • Your non-profit is listed in the Chamber’s online business directory.

    • Your non-profit has a member page on our website. Check out the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Y’s member page for an example.

    • The Chamber features a non-profit at each month’s Business After Hours event as the Non-Profit Spotlight. The spotlight receives promotion in the Chamber’s print and e-newsletter, in addition to space at their specified After Hours to display promotional materials and connect with guests. Connect with Amy Grau to be added to the Non-Profit Spotlight waitlist.

    • You can submit your organization’s news – upcoming event notices – for inclusion in the Member News Calendar. Submit your member news online here

    • Each year, Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro participants choose a Chamber member non-profit to support through their Small Miracles project, an effort to raise $500 or more for a community non-profit.

    Saving You Money

We work hard to improve your bottom line. You may rent the Louise Beck Properties Conference Room three times each year for free, after which you may rent the conference room at a reduced rate for non-profits.  For more information, visit our Conference Room page.

In addition to conference room rental, you have access to all the Chamber’s money-saving partnerships and Member to Member Benefits.
