For the Eno River Players’ third production, we will be exploring Samuel Beckett’s classic, existential “tragicomedy,” Waiting for Godot!
Two men wait by a tree for the mysterious Godot to appear as promised. As they wait, they are joined by a tyrannical slavedriver, his faithful servant, and a boy with a message from Godot. These five men explore the fundamental questions of life and existence while chatting, bickering, joking, dreaming, dancing, shouting, sleeping, crawling, preaching, peeing, flagellating, and farting.
Directed by Matthew Sampson Featuring Antony Grow, Emerson Beyer, Omari Akil, Will Brinson, and J.J. Wilcox Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door.
