Event Description:
How to Use Blogging to Increase Traffic to Your Website
Blogging is a great way to share your expertise with potential clients and gives you original content to post to social media. During this seminar we?ll discuss how to set up an editorial calendar that sets you up for success. We?ll talk about what types of content (e.g., video, infographics, and interview pieces) have the most impact. And we?ll look at the best ways to pitch guest blogging opportunities. You won?t want to miss the next Taking Care of Business seminar!

Lunch is sponsored by PDQ.

Speaker:
Emily Crookston is the owner of The Pocket PhD. She is a content marketer, former professor, and pocket resource for your business. She loves to help small business owners create books, blog posts, articles, email marketing campaigns, and website page content that start conversations. When she?s not writing intensely, she?s most likely practicing yoga intensely. She lives for coffee shops that play good music to write to and desserts topped with real whipped cream.

Taking Care of Business is powered by the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, SCORE Chapel Hill Durham, and the Small Business Response.  Join us monthly on the first Wednesday for education topics that give you the tools you need to succeed in your business.
