Event Description:
The Chamber's charitable Partnership for a Sustainable Community is teaming up with Orange County Solid Waste, the Chapel Hill Police Department, the Local Government Federal Credit Union, and the Orange County Sheriff's Department to bring you a community-wide Shred-a-Thon this month.
WHEN IS THE SHRED-A-THON?
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11 at University Mall in Chapel Hill.
HOW MUCH CAN I SHRED?
There is a limit of ten banker-box sized boxes or large bags of paper per person, and only one trip per person.
WHAT CAN I SHRED?
ONLY paper materials will be destroyed at the Shred-a-Thon. Incidental staples or paper clips are OK! All shredded paper will be recycled.
