This regional conversation is open to nonprofit executives who need help navigating SBA Loans, grants, and unemployment benefits.
Life is moving very quickly and things change every day. We know you need access to up-to-date information to help you make the difficult decisions you are facing over the next two weeks (stay open or closed, salary cuts, layoffs, apply for loans, grants) and we want to share what we know about resources to help you as quickly as possible.
And so we would like to invite you all to a special Non-Profit Zoom call this Thursday at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be a one-hour briefing/information sharing/question and answer session.
Topics will include:
- Applying for the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (new, streamlined application launched yesterday) and the $10,000 forgivable cash advance
- The Paycheck Protection Program of the new CARES Act (forgivable loans to cover 8 weeks of payroll) – the application and explanation was launched just hours ago and 501c3s may apply as early as this Friday
- Changes to unemployment benefits
- Stay at Home Orders and local implications
- Conversation and Q and A
For those who cannot attend this quickly called meeting, we will also be having a zoom meeting on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with a senior staffer of the SBA on similar issues and you are welcome to come to that meeting as well, or instead.
