Did you know that 27,000 service members will transition out of North Carolina military bases in 2015, already equipped with high-demand skills that businesses need? However, thousands of employers overlook this talent pool because they are unaware of the value that veterans can bring to their organization or the resources available to find military candidates that match their needs. To combat this, the NC Chamber recently joined forces with the NC for Military Employment (NC4ME) initiative to provide a series of Military Employment Summits designed to help North Carolina companies integrate returning service-women and men into their workforce strategy.
