The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce will host a press conference to announce the names of the 2013 Chapel Hill-Carrboro Business Hall of Fame inductees, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27 at Spanky’s, located at 101 E. Franklin St. in downtown Chapel Hill. Members of the media, Chamber members, and the general public are invited to attend the press conference, which will be held upstairs at Spanky’s.
The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Business Hall of Fame honors individuals with a record of achievement that demonstrates excellence in business management, entrepreneurial and courageous thinking and action, inspiring leadership, community impact, and whose time as a business leader made a substantial, positive and lasting impact on our community.
Twelve individuals will be inducted into the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Business Hall of Fame at the inaugural Hall of Fame Gala, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at The Carolina Inn.
Tickets to the Hall of Fame Gala, a black-tie event included a cocktail hour, live music, and a three-course meal, are $200 per person or $300 for a couple. Register online.
