The Economic Development & Public Policy Committee would like to extend a special invitation to its April meeting which will be a 2012 Primary Preview. Campaign season is already upon us and this special briefing will review what is on both the Republican and Democratic ballots on Tuesday May 8th.
Rob Christensen, who has covered North Carolina politics for thirty-seven years at the News and Observer, will give an overview of the importance of this primary and will take questions.
Alex Miller, Co-Chair of the Coalition to Protect North Carolina Families, will brief members on the impact of Amendment One on small business in our state.
Because we’d like to extend this invitation to the entire membership, please indicate your attendance by registering at carolinachamber.org/events.
