Event Description:
Kick-off the new year with your fellow young professionals
At the first CHYP event of 2016, join your fellow young professionals for a panel discussion and networking hour. The topic of the evening is non-profit board service. Gain insight into the experience of serving on a board or committee, talk about your own experiences or interest and become familiar with board resources and opportunities.
After the panel there will be a networking hour, with beverages and food.
Our panelists include:
Trudy Smith, Executive Service Corps. (facilitator)
Shamecca Bryant, Orange County Rape Crisis Center and Chamber board member
Kellye Murphy, Bank of North Carolina, CHYP Committee Chair and Chamber board member
Lee Storrow, former Chapel Hill Town Council member and current executive director for NC AIDS Action Network
