Event Description:
Please join us for a maker gathering to launch an organized maker community in Chapel Hill and begin planning a fall Maker Showcase.
Meeting Format for March 18:
10:30 - 10:45 am Maker Share
10:45 - 11:45 am Visioning and Planning Meeting
11:45 - 12:00 pm Maker Share
During the "Maker Share" parts of the gathering, a handful of makers are invited to share/present their creations. Each presenting maker will be given a table (or other space if a table doesn't work) at which to set up his/her display, and attendees will walk around to the tables/areas as if at a "Maker Faire." If you are interested in sharing your work/creations at the March 18 meeting, please email Michelle Lewis at mlewisunc@gmail.com and describe what you plan to display and your space requirements.
The Visioning and Planning Meeting will include identifying interest groups and beginning preliminary planning of a Fall Maker Showcase.
All who are interested are welcome to attend this event.
