Carrboro Candidates Forum Co-Hosted by the Sierra Club

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and the Orange/Chatham Sierra Club will host two joint candidate forums for Chapel Hill and Carrboro municipal election candidates. 
 
The forum for Carrboro Board of Aldermen candidates will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the Carrboro Town Hall Boardroom at 301 W. Main Street in Carrboro. The moderator of the forum is Margot Lester.  Lester is an Orange County native, Carrboro resident and business owner, Chamber board member, and reporter, including contributor to the former Carrboro Citizen. 
 
Members of the Chamber and Sierra Club, as well as the broader public, are invited to attend these forums to hear from local candidates and their vision for our community.  Additionally The Peoples Channel will re-broadcast both forums on Channel 8 in Chapel Hill and Channel 4 in Carrborro on Time Warner.
