About the CBA: The Carrboro Business Alliance (CBA), founded in 2014 on the shared belief that "local matters," is now 100 local businesses collaborating to help Carrboro thrive. The CBA is governed by an active Leadership Council and two committees (Marketing and Policy), and all members are Carrboro-serving enterprises.
About the Policy Committee: The
CBA Policy Committee is charged with “Represent the local business interests with policymakers."
2020 Committee Priorities: The CBA has
five policy priorities, which reflect the organization’s values and policy platform, and the most urgent and important is “no net loss of publicly available parking in downtown Carrboro.” (
