Hosted by our Chamber and our
Partnership for a Sustainable Community, Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro is an intensive program designed to develop a continual pool of leadership talent for our Chapel Hill-Carrboro/Orange County community.
Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro
kicks off with a reception, 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 4 at The Siena Hotel. Participants then meet for an all-day retreat April 6, and the class continues to meet the first Thursday of the month for a full day of workshops with today's leaders on the social, cultural, political, and economic facets of our community, as well as participate in team-building exercises, skills curriculum taught by local experts and tours of our community and local facilities.

Leadership concludes with the class participating in a special two-day Chamber event, State of the Community Report & Planning Conference.
Through exchange of ideas, community experiences, and leadership skill-building sessions, Leadership participants develop specific interests in the concerns of our community and emerge equipped with the skills and knowledge to positively affect our communities.
