Dick Baddour is the featured speaker at the 12th Annual Roy Williams’ Fast Break Against Cancer on Monday morning, October 3, at the Smith Center! This very special breakfast event supports cancer research, treatment and outreach programs at UNC Lineberger.
For the past 11 years, Coach Williams has tipped-off the first day of basketball season with his signature fundraising breakfast, Fast Break. One of the highlights of Fast Break is hearing personal stories from cancer patients and their loved ones. We anticipate this year will be one of the most inspiring yet – former UNC Athletic Director Dick Baddour will share a how cancer has recently touched his family. His story is one you will not want to miss.
As in previous years, the breakfast will include silent and live auctions unlike any other – loaded with unique opportunities for Carolina Fans to enjoy behind-the-scenes opportunities with the Heels! Among this year’s offerings are a trip to Las Vegas to see the Tar Heels take on the Kentucky Wildcats, an opportunity for lunch with Coach Williams in the basketball office and many more one-of-a-kind experiences!
